Jo Dene and Susan recognized the form of First UMC, Tacoma, in the pre-renovation aerial photo from last Sunday … here’s one that’s the same yesterday, today, and forever… or at least, it hasn’t changed much in the last century or so.
As always, name the northwest U.M. location, and provide a link to the bird’s eye photo at Bing Maps.
This will be more difficult for me.
i probably should’ve left off the street label. I was surprised that this one was within range of the Bird’s Eye View images — most of the rural churches aren’t.
Well, Susan’s the only one with too much time on her hands this week. She emailed me earlier that she’d found it: Littlerock UMC, southwest of Olympia.
Susan, you’re getting good at this. Let me give you a harder contest to while away your Sundays. Every Sunday noon, a birdseye view contest is posted at http://horsesass.org/. It can be a view of anywhere they have birdseye views — U.S., Europe, Australia, … very challenging. There’s a guy in Milwaukee who’s an absolute wizard at solving them, but sometimes I get one.
